This whole-home battery installation in the Central Valley was a full SigenStor system deployment paired with the Sigen Load Hub — Sigenergy's smart load management panel that allows the battery to prioritize backup circuits and respond intelligently to grid conditions.
The scope required running 2.5" conduit from the main service panel to the new Load Hub, then pulling two separate sets of 3/0 conductors: one set carrying the grid connection into the Sigen Load Hub, and a second set feeding the backup loads panel. That separation is what allows the system to transfer cleanly during an outage — critical circuits stay live, non-essential loads shed automatically.

The home already had an existing solar array on the roof. Adding battery storage to an existing solar system is not a plug-and-play swap — it requires careful coordination between the inverter, the utility interconnect, and the new battery system. The conduit routing and conductor sizing were designed to handle the full throughput of both the solar production and battery charge/discharge cycles simultaneously.
The Sigen Load Hub interior shows labeled smart breaker slots, the transfer hardware, and the termination work for the 3/0 runs. Every connection was torqued to spec and the system was commissioned and tested before leaving the site.

SigenStor systems require a licensed electrical contractor for installation and are not eligible for California battery incentive programs (SGIP) unless installed to code. This system was installed permit-ready and passed inspection.
